In 2019 I was involved in a horrible accident in which I was severely injured. In my search for an attorney to represent me, I was told by the first few that my case wasn't worth much. That is until I met Lance Behringer of Carpenter, Zuckerman. Lance was such a relief to have on my side. He showed great compassion toward my health and well-being and stayed in constant contact with me through the whole process. He and his staff were always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. And they took no boloney from the insurance company we were going after. Lance worked extra hard to ensure that I was taken care of throughout the entire process. We ended up going after my insurance and the insurance of the driver that hit me. In the end, Lance recovered 2 million dollars in my case. I couldn't be more pleased with the expert care and the handling of my case and would recommend Lance to anyone in need of a great attorney. After my settlement and not long after the surgery I had gotten (due to the accident), I was rear-ended and sustained further injuries making it necessary to go to a specialist and physical therapy. I am writing this review in light of my recent settlement of $1.25 million dollars in which I was represented by the greatest law firm CZ and one of their greatest assets, in my opinion, the greatest, Lance Behringer. I took extra time before writing and posting my review in order to represent my thoughts and emotions the best way I know how. From our first meeting to prep, discovery, deposition preparation, actual deposition (which was smack in the middle of COVID-19), and demand letter to settlement, everything not only went smoothly but just as Lance laid it out. The worst part of any type of legal action in which you are injured by another party is not knowing, the lack of guarantee things will go your way, or if you would be made whole (or partially whole) again. Of course, what makes the matter worse is all the injuries and pain you have to deal with on a daily basis. It is a constant reminder of who you used to be and what you will not be moving forward. Lance took all those fears and concerns away and allowed me to focus on getting better. He and his staff did all the heavy lifting and took care of me like family.
