Vanessa Franco is an associate attorney with Carpenter & Zuckerman. Vanessa joined the firm in 2019 after finishing her legal education at New York Law School. During her career at Carpenter & Zuckerman, Vanessa has become a passionate, aggressive, and determined attorney in providing the best representation to clients. Vanessa has engaged in drafting hundreds of difficult Motions for the purposes of protecting her client’s constitutional right to privacy from the Defense, has vehemently argued these Motions, has built relationships with parents who have had a child suffer from a personal injury and has helped guide the families through the long process of obtaining justice for not only the adult clients, but minor clients as well.
Vanessa, first generation attorney of Mexican immigrants, received her Bachelor of Arts from her hometown university, UC Riverside. While a student at UC Riverside, Vanessa also dedicated her time to her alma mater high school, Jurupa Valley High School, by coaching the cheerleading squad. During this time, Vanessa developed her passion for engaging within the community and giving back to the community to the best of her ability. Following her undergraduate career, Vanessa took the big leap and moved across the country to receive her JD at New York Law School. Vanessa’s experience at New York Law School was exponentially beneficial, as she was able to engage with such a diverse community, as similarly to California, New York is a melting pot of diverse cultures. Vanessa’s personal life experiences has helped formulate the type of attorney she has become and continues to strive to be, by being eager every day to engage with a vast amount of diverse individuals, and finding the best opportunities she can in giving back to the community, specifically by obtaining justice for the members of the community who have experiences a personal injury.
