Bio

Lauren C. Martin is an experienced personal injury lawyer at Carpenter & Zuckerman. She is licensed to practice law in all California state courts, as well as the Central, Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California. Ms. Martin is an extremely organized, results-oriented trial attorney. She manages all stages of litigation, including discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and conferring on trial documents and motions, preparing for trial, and trying cases.

Ms. Martin graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in History. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Martin went on to attend Southwestern Law School, where she graduated from the prestigious two-year Juris Doctor (J.D.) SCALE Program. During her time at Southwestern, Ms. Martin was an active member of the Women’s Law Society and Criminal Law Society. Throughout law school, Ms. Martin served as a civil litigation research assistant while concurrently holding a full-time intern position at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office: Hardcore Gang Division.

Prior to joining Carpenter & Zuckerman, Ms. Martin worked as an associate at a Los Angeles-based firm where she specialized in litigating consumer warranty claims and fraudulent concealment actions. She has tried numerous cases in both state and federal court. Ms. Martin also briefly worked as an associate at a personal injury defense firm, which provided her a unique perspective on how to better fight for justice on behalf of the injured consumer.
